Speech Pathologist for our Houston Pediatric Private Practice
An exciting position is available immediately for a Speech Pathologist (CCC or CFY) in our wonderful private practice.
Collaborate with other Speech Pathologists and an Occupational Therapist in implementing effective and quality therapy and evaluations. Must be able to work with children who have difficulty functioning in their environments, communicating effectively, or learning at their grade level. Work with children that are developmentally delayed, PDD, Autistic, Apraxic, dyslexic, and/or experience language processing deficits.
Qualifications:
Provide evaluations and therapy for those children who are experiencing communication and learning difficulties. Must be comfortable in consulting with parents and teachers in implementing techniques to help the child in their home and learning environments. Experience in working with children who exhibit auditory and visual-perceptual processing disorders, and reading and writing deficits would be beneficial.

We currently have a position available for a Registered or COTA Occupational Therapist to work in our wonderful practice with speech therapists and involved parents in implementing evaluations and treatment for children ages 6 months to 12 years.
Qualifications: COTA or Registered Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations and therapy for children who exhibit fine/gross motor delays, handwriting issues, oral motor delays, and sensory processing difficulties. Implement Occupational Therapy for children with developmental delays, ASD, ADD, and overall processing issues. Co-treat with speech pathologists to maximize treatment for children with special needs. COTA's will have the supervision of a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who is trained and certified in many areas of childhood development.
