Occupational Therapy

We put the “Fun” in FUNCTIONAL!

What We Do

We work with children and their families to encourage independent participation in their everyday lives. Young children’s primary occupations include learning life skills, being creative and spontaneous (play), and creating and maintaining relationships with others. We focus on the context in which these environments occur, including home, school, and playgrounds/sport activities. To Schedule an Occupational Therapy Evaluation

Please call our office at 713-468-0300 to schedule an occupational therapy evaluation.  Typically, we will schedule one or two evaluation days depending on your child’s needs.  Evaluations usually last between 45 and 75 minutes per visit and utilize both standardized testing and clinical play observations to determine our clients’ areas of need.  In collaboration with the parents, we develop a plan of care for the child that is carried out here in the clinic, but also promotes home carryover.

Occupational Therapy Sessions

Session duration and frequency are determined by the therapist, based on your child’s needs.
